Make a good first impression by having the outside of your home landscaped and welcoming. A well-maintained lawn/yard that is clean and clutter-free can set the mood for a potential buyer.

Access is Essential

If there’s a restricted time frame when showings can take place, buyers may cross it off and move on. Sellers should leave during showings as this will make the buyer feel more at ease. Keep in mind most buyers works, so we have to schedule showing around their schedule.

Be sure to close open permits and have proper CO’s in place. Certificate of Occupancy issues can hang up your sale for months if the appropriate documents are not available. For example, you may have added that beautiful porch many years ago, which closed the deal. When the proper permit is not acquired or closed out after completion, you can have issues closing the sale.
